Leadership Series: Understanding and Leveraging Influence as a Palliative Care Leader
Tuesday, August 312 p.m. - 3 p.m. ET
A palliative care leader’s effectiveness in growing and strengthening their program is partially tied to their ability to influence decision makers within their organization. How can leaders identify and position themselves to capture the attention of decision makers who may impact their program’s success?
As part of CAPC’s 2021 Leadership Series, panelists will discuss how palliative care leaders should leverage influence within their organizations, to ensure their program is well-positioned to succeed. The panelists, from organizations of various sizes, will discuss ‘power mapping’ and other strategies for identifying and approaching decision makers. Attendees will learn tips on commanding influence in ways that replace a sense of powerlessness with success in promoting their ideas.
