WHEN
-
Thursday, January 21 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. ET
Palliative care and rehabilitation professionals share a goal of improving quality of life for people living with serious illness, yet opportunities for collaboration are often missed. Using real-world cases from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, this webinar will explore how these disciplines can work together to improve patient care.
Presenters will examine common barriers to collaboration, including unclear roles and communication gaps, and share practical strategies for integrating rehabilitation into palliative care. Attendees will learn how to strengthen interprofessional teamwork, coordinate interventions, and better support patients' goals and functional needs throughout the disease trajectory.
