“This Pain is Mind-Numbing”: Use of Intravenous Lidocaine in Refractory Pain

Case presentation of a cancer patient with intolerable pain, not responsive to traditional medications. A lidocaine challenge dose followed by a continuous infusion made the patient's radiation treatments tolerable.
