Many people living with cancer are apprehensive about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in health care settings.

A study published in Hematology Advisor explores the perspectives of people living with cancer on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in health care. The study, which surveyed over six hundred and sixty people living cancer, found that 44% expressed fear towards the idea of using AI in health care settings, while 45% acknowledged its potential benefits. The findings suggest a need for more research that explores how patients’ concerns about new forms of technology can be addressed.
