States Chart A Policy Path To Improve Palliative Care Services Across The Care Continuum

In a recent Health Affairs blog post, Trish Riley and Kitty Purington write about the need for more states to integrate palliative care across the health care continuum, and the challenges commonly faced. The authors discuss the newly convened State Leadership Council on Palliative Care, to better define how states can address said challenges, through policy recommendations for increasing access and improving the quality of palliative care.
