National Coalition Releases 2020 Impact Report
The National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care (Coalition) released its 2020 Impact Report that highlights its accomplishments from the past year. The Coalition is comprised of the 13 leading palliative care and hospice organizations that represent providers, professionals, and other stakeholders who work together to advocate for equitable health care policies and programs that will improve the care of patients living with serious illnesses and their families. Key 2020 accomplishments included quickly pivoting to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for greater attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion; as well as continuing work to support pediatric palliative care, palliative care quality measures, community-based palliative care, and public messaging.
