A study published in Palliative Medicine Reports examined the reactions of palliative care professionals after participating in a four-hour art therapy workshop, focused on personal self-care. Through a questionnaire with open-ended questions, participants expressed enthusiasm to art therapy, and shared sentiments such as that it promoted self-awareness, healing, and more. Authors concluded that art therapy may play a role in self-care for the palliative care professionals, suggesting further research.
