Fostering Trust with a Young Man Experiencing Homelessness and Advanced Cancer
In a recent article published in the Journal of Palliative Care, William E. Rosa, PhD, et al. share the story of caring for a person experiencing homelessness (PEH) as palliative care clinicians, and lessons learned along the way. Through the case study, the authors detail recommendations for improving palliative care for this at-risk patient population, as "clinicians are often challenged to provide sustained and tailored services that ensure high-quality palliative care for PEH."
