CAPC's Brynn Bowman, MPA, joined Chris Comeaux on a two-part TCNtalks podcast to discuss the future of palliative care. In part one, they cover the rise of competing models entering the landscape, why CAPC is developing minimum standards for specialty palliative care programs, and what recent CMS activity across hospice, home health, and the physician fee schedule could mean for reimbursement. Bowman also addresses the growing access gaps in rural and community-based care, and what it would take to ensure high-quality palliative care is available to patients regardless of where they live.
