Applications Open for the 2026 Hillman Emergent Innovation: Serious Illness and End of Life (HSEI) Program

Those interested in this nursing-driven funding opportunity should submit a Letter of Intent by February 20, 2026.

This week, The Rita and Alex Hillman Foundation (RAHF) released its Request for Proposals for the Hillman Emergent Innovation: Serious Illness and End of Life (HSEI) program, which supports the development of innovative, pre-evidence interventions that seek to improve outcomes in serious illness and end of life care. In partnership with The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations (AVDF), eleven grants of $50,000 each will be awarded for work lasting 12-18 months.

Interested applicants are invited to attend an upcoming webinar on January 21, 2026, with Letters of Intent due February 20, 2026 at 5pm ET.
