Ms. Melanie J. Marien, MS, RPA-C, CPQH, BCPA is a nationally recognized healthcare executive, clinician, and patient advocate with more than 25 years of direct patient care experience across internal medicine, trauma, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, hospice, and palliative care. In addition to her clinical practice, she has held executive leadership roles guiding large-scale healthcare operations, quality improvement initiatives, and value-based care programs. A consultant and workgroup contributor for the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC), Melanie is passionate about advancing access to high-quality palliative care, driving innovation in healthcare delivery, and amplifying patient and caregiver voices. She blends clinical expertise with operational strategy to improve outcomes, equity, and patient-centered care across the healthcare continuum.
