CAPC Announces the Winners of its Third The John A. Hartford Foundation Tipping Point Challenge
The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) has proudly announced the winners in the “Clinical Training” category of its third Tipping Point Challenge. This national Challenge, sponsored by CAPC and The John A. Hartford Foundation, was the culmination of CAPC’s five-year campaign aimed at creating a tipping point in the improvement of care delivered to millions of Americans living with a serious illness.
The goal of the year-long clinical training Challenge was to help health care organizations expand the ability to effectively care for seriously ill patients by enhancing skills among clinicians—from all medical specialties and disciplines—working with this patient population. These include communication, pain management, and symptom management skills directed at the complex needs of people living with serious illness.
