Job Details:
As a Palliative Care Physician with Advocate Health, you'll play a vital role in providing invaluable inpatient consultation services to patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care and improve patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining a primarily inpatient weekday consultation schedule with dedicated workspace.
• Collaborating closely with our well-established Palliative Care Team, ensuring comprehensive patient care from day one.
• Participating in Monday – Friday inpatient consultations and sharing workload with 2 APCs.
• Sharing after-hours call responsibilities Monday – Sunday (average 1:9), with the option to participate in weekend rounding at St. Luke’s Medical Center or Zilber Family Hospice.
• Supporting a Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship Program, participating in lectures, and mentoring learners if interested.
• Providing care at our primary location, Aurora Medical Center Summit, and Aurora Medical Center Washington County, utilizing EPIC EMR for seamless documentation and coordination.

Training and Experience Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Possession of a Wisconsin medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
