CHI Health is looking for a physician to join our Palliative Care team in Omaha Nebraska. This physician will provide inpatient care in a Metro area providing compassionate care to our patients and family members. 
Palliative Care Physician Opportunity•            
Team of 2 physicians, 2 PA's, 3 APP’s providing services to all ages•            
Inpatient Palliative Care Consult Service (Monday-Friday)•            
Primarily inpatient focused with future plans to offer outpatient visits•            
Team includes a Chaplain and Social Worker•            
Team covers a 5 hospital services area in the Omaha Metro•            

See an average of 3-4 new consults and 3-4 follow ups per day•            
This employed position offers an excellent compensation package including vacation, CME allowance, relocation allowance, health, dental, life and malpractice insurance, and a 401k plan with employer contribution.  
Professional Skills/Qualifications: MD or DO from accredited medical school•             Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine• Board certification or Board eligible in Palliative Medicine• Ability to obtain Nebraska and Iowa Medicine License•  DEA License•  Communicate efficiently with patients, families and team•  Expertise in symptom management for patients with serious illness•             Effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary framework•   Demonstrate a desire to help increase Palliative Care access in the community•  Participate with staff education and mentoring•  Comfortable supervising advanced practice providers

 CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a quality driven, patient centered BC/BE Hospice & Palliative Medicine (HPM) physician to join a vibrant and growing program in Interdisciplinary Palliative Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Join our thriving team of nurses, advanced practitioners, and physicians as we grow and make a lasting impact on our health system. Our clinical practice is a Monday – Friday inpatient consult service, with some opportunity for growth into an embedded multidisciplinary ambulatory practice if this is of interest. This collegial work environment offers developed relationships with other hospital specialties, case management teams, and pastoral care.This opportunity is well suited for a physician leader who is eager to take an active role in programmatic growth and sustainable systems-level palliative quality improvements. Preferred candidates have interest in scholarly pursuits and the education and training of students, residents, and fellows in an emerging HPM Fellowship & Masters in Medical Humanities with Creighton University School of Medicine.
