Overview

The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in a new age of palliative care delivery via remote audio and video communications.

With the expectation that telehealth is here to stay, this webinar explores how teams can deliver compassionate and effective palliative care to patients in their homes, long-term care facilities, emergency departments, and other settings. This session, a panel discussion featuring Allison Silvers, Dana Lustbader, MD, and Michael Fratkin, MD, provides advice on preparing patients for their virtual encounters; reviews proper telehealth etiquette; describes how to use technology to enhance the encounter; and explores ideas for supporting patients with limited access to necessary devices.
