Medical Social Worker III / LCSW
Los Angeles, California

In this role, you will provide assessment, coordination, and implementation/evaluation of professional social services to patients and their families in order to aid them in coping with social, emotional, and economic difficulties related to medical problems or those predispose to illness.

Qualifications Include:
• One year of experience working as a Medical Social Worker in a medical acute care setting or as part of a medical team
• A master’s degree in social work issued by a school accredited by the Counsel of Social Work Education
• A current and valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the State of California Board of Behavior Science Examiners
• AHA issued BLS card
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Position is part of the Inpatient Palliative Care team, therefore experience in palliative care, home care, hospice, oncology or related strongly preferred.
• Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
