The Program Leader’s Role: Setting Strategy and Determining Scope
Tuesday, May 51:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ET
Leaders of palliative care programs are charged with setting strategies that lead to program success and sustainability. This requires that they consider multiple – and sometimes competing – perspectives. How does the program’s vision align with that of the parent organization? Is the program properly structured to foster smooth and nimble implementation of the strategy? Will a plan that calls for steady growth outpace staff capacity?
As part of CAPC’s Leadership Series, this webinar will explore the palliative care leader’s role creating and overseeing a realistic strategic plan. Panelists will discuss planning processes and program scope. They will offer tips to help leaders to strategically foster growth, while taking pragmatic account of available human and financial resources. Additionally, they will share techniques on remaining true to the charted course, despite demands to do more.
Who should attend:
This webinar is relevant for palliative care professionals who are taking a leadership role in the field, as well as those who are leaders in other capacities.
