BRIEFING: Key Findings From the Latest CAPC Research on Attitudes and Perceptions of Palliative Care

WHEN

  • Thursday, July 18

    12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. ET

In 2011, CAPC conducted the most extensive and comprehensive deep dive into attitudes and awareness about palliative care to date. We tested messaging and positioning themes to determine what resonated most with a variety of key target audiences, including the public and physicians. Now in 2019, we are conducting new qualitative and quantitative research among consumers and referring physicians that will:

  • Track awareness, perceptions, attitudes and interest in palliative care and to see how they may have shifted since our last research effort in 2011
  • Explore barriers among to using palliative care
  • Test language, terminology, definitions and messaging to be used in discussing palliative care with key audiences
