As Meetings and Events Associate at CAPC, Derrick Sabater assists the Director of Meetings and Events with the logistics and overall attendee customer service for the annual CAPC National Seminar. He also collaborates with the Marketing department on trade show logistics, coordinating exhibitor presence over a dozen national trade shows.
Before joining CAPC, Mr. Sabater worked at BizBash Media as the Events Associate and Noelle-Elaine Media, Inc., where he developed publicity campaigns and managed press and media relationships. He also worked as an Events Strategist & Consultant for LeadDog Marketing Group & Get U.S. Destination Event Management, developing high-end event experiences for clients such as The Acura Experience – W Hotels, TLC Network Cake Boss, and Pfizer Inc.
Mr. Sabater holds a BA in Communication, with a concentration in Public Relations, from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama.
