Maria De Borba-Silva
As Senior Membership Associate, Maria De Borba-Silva helps interested health care organizations explore CAPC membership by demonstrating how CAPC’s resources can support their palliative care and other organizational goals. She previously worked in Member Relations, providing existing members with content recommendations and responding to member inquiries on a wide array of topics.
Ms. De Borba-Silva’s public health career spans disease management, speakers bureau, and residency program set-up and management, managed care marketing, pharmaceutical sales, and post-secondary teaching and research. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador and has her MPH from UCLA, DrPH from Loma Linda University, and International Studies BA/MBA from the University of South Carolina. Ms. De Borba-Silva is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).
