ABOUT THE PRESENTATION:

Important opportunities exist to improve palliative care in the ICU. A variety of strategies have been suggested, and some have been rigorously evaluated. As an overall framework, an integrated model that includes palliative care as part of comprehensive critical care for all ICU patients and their families has been increasingly accepted.

This audio conference will review and discuss relevant evidence and practical approaches to optimal palliative care quality for ICU patients and families.
