About the Presentation

This audio conference will map steps for starting and sustaining a successful ICU-palliative care integration. The presentation will address the creation of a culture that prioritizes and supports ICU palliative care; the design of work systems that facilitate clinical practice improvement; and the identification of feasible, relevant project goals for a specific ICU. Dr. Nelson will also introduce IPAL-ICU, a new initiative that provides a range of resources for clinicians seeking to improve palliative care in the ICU.
