    March 15-17 in Miami, FL

    Join us for CAPC's Spring Seminar, "Building Palliative Care Programs in Hospitals: Tools and Strategies for Success." The seminar provides a comprehensive overview of the financial and operational information and tools essential to building a successful palliative care program.

    Register by February 4, 2005 and receive a $100 Early Bird Discount.     The Palliative Care Leadership Centers are celebrating their first anniversary and accepting applications for 2005 on-site training and mentoring. A full 97 percent of visitors at six sites recommend the trainings to palliative care advocates seeking assistance in fast-tracking their programs.

    Learn about 2005 ELNEC courses

    There will be four ELNEC (End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium) courses offered in 2005.

    • Core Training Program - March 9 to 11, 2005

      During this two- and one-half day "train-the-trainer" course, the ELNEC Core syllabus and nine modules will be reviewed. The course is designed to provide the tools and training that will enable you to be an ELNEC trainer and teach others at your institution.

      The registration fee includes:

      • 1000+ page syllabus
      • Tools for take home use: CD (contains entire syllabus), PowerPoint slides and supplemental teaching materials
      • Hospitality Reception on Wednesday evening
      • Breakfast, lunch and breaks for Thursday and Friday
      • CEs

    • Graduate Training Program - June 15 to 17, 2005
    • Pediatric Palliative Care Training Program - August 3 to 5, 2005
    • Oncology Training Program - September 14 to 16, 2005
