Within the last year our HR department has started using a standardized set of questions for all interviews. The set is customized for professional vs. non-professional positions. The areas of the focus for the interview include teamwork, communication, boundaries, problem solving and critical thinking, etc. I have found it very helpful and it also standardizes the interview process when interviewing multiple candidates. It then gives you the opportunity to score prospective candidates. You may want to do some research with the HR department to see if there are tools such as this available to you in your system.
