| Re:Hospice NP (by ShredaNP on 12/12/2008)
I am an APN that worked in hospice previously but am not currently working in hospice now, although I know that there are those that do. I recommend that you join HPNA as an APN and make sure that you sign up for the APN Special Interest Group (APN SIG for short). When you do that, you get access the emails and info that is shared b/w APNs that work in palliative & hospice across the country. It is an amazing resource and you can find tons of support for almost any question that you can think of. Feel free to email me at Shredanp@yahoo.com but for sure, sign up for the SIG. You won't be sorry!

Hi, perhaps we could assist eachother. I am a new NP and new to hospice as of 1 month ago. I am employeed by a hospice agency and seeing hospice patients in their home (both on behalf of the agency and as an attending) until our inpatient unit opens in May. Please feel free to email me at my listed email.
