We also made the transition to using AND about three years ago, but we are still working to get all of our staff and various peds residents and hospitalists who rotate to our institution to consistently use it. Theoretically, it does sound like a more positive approach to end of life, but I cannot say that it has triggered a paradigm shift in attitudes...
