At Children's Hospital and Clinics of MN as well as other pediatric palliative care centers, we are using order sets for continuous infusions with PCA of morphine, hydromorphone, fentanyl, midazolam, ketamine, propofol for pain and symptom management. In addition, the pediatric PCLCs have put compliled a "trigger" list as Dr. Friebert had referenced in an earlier post. This list is now available on the CAPC website at http://www.capc.org/tools-for-palliative-care-programs/clinical-tools/.
