I have also found Steve's article very helpful. I am the palliative care coordinator in a women's and children's hospital. We are just beginning the relationship with perinatology and find it a completely new field for palliative care. Lots of problems with trying to communicate and coordinate, especially when the patients are often on different islands (Hawaii).
