I work in a clinic/hospital integrated healthcare system. We are starting palliative care consultation in the office of the perinatologist and following through the process. I have learned a lot from Steven Leuthner's writings, Fetal Concerns Program; A Model for Perinatal Palliative Care and Fetal palliative care. Also, I would recommend talking with Nancy English, Ph.D. She is with the Fetal Concerns program at The Children's Hospital, Denver.

It is tough work. Support helps. Do you have a palliative care program at your hospital. There are differences, but I have found our palliative care program to be helpful and supportive.
