There is a pediatric palliative care conference in Charlotte, NC on Nov. 9&10 hosted by Levine Children's Hospital, Kids Path (a program of Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region) and Charlotte AHEC. Marcia Levetown, MD is the featured speaker and will give the keynote adddress and several other talks.Topics include pain and symptom management, perinatal and neonatal palliative care, sibling grief, and difficult conversations.
