We have a telemedicine program that connects a palliative care physician in our city with a patient that would have to drive 3 hrs one way to access the service. I'm with Hospice of the Bluegrass in Lexington KY. and we partner with the University of Kentucky telemedicine office who provide the sites around the state and the technical equipment necessary to make this happen. I'd be happy to talk with you further.

telehealth programs make a great deal of sense is disseminating the expertise of palliative medicine specialists (whose numbers are in short supply) - I'm curious what others think is keeping back greater use of telehealth in palliative care.

Hi, the Telehealth program also makes a good deal of sense when trying to work with and communicate with a long distance caregiving population.
