Post length of visits in outpatient clinic

We have a very busy Palliative Care Clinic where we currently allow 30 minutes for follow-up visits and 60 minutes for new visits as we feel that the complexity of our patient population warrants this amount of time to adequately address their needs. Our institution is rolling out a new template for all outpatients visits which allows 20 minutes for follow-up and 40 minutes for new visits. I'm interested in knowing what the standard is at other institutions.
