Thank you for your inquiry.
For Medicare purposes, billing for a home visit by an NP would be the same process as for a physician (reimbursed at a lower rate as with other services). Home visits call for CPT codes 99341 - 99345 for a new visit and 99347 - 99350 for and established patient. Reimbursement from other insurance carriers (BCBS, UHC, Medicaid, etc.) would be state specific and should be investigated prior to providing services for patients with non-Medicare insurance.
