Thank you so much for the information. Here is a little background on our company. We are a start up and have just receieved our provisional license to start a hospice program. I also started researching palliative care programs in the nursing home as a way to increase understanding and acceptance of hospice. I am not a hospice nurse or social worker, but I worked in hospice for a number of years. One of the things that has been happening is that the nursing facilities have been asking me to come and talk to families about hospice versus palliative care, almost like an educational meeting. I really would like to formally put something together nad I am trying to gather as much information as possible.
