The provision of palliative care in the ICU for patients with advanced illness is extremely important. The IPAL Project is designed to provide resources to clinicians doing this kind of work. IPAL was launched in 2010 by Judy Nelson, MD, JD with support from the National Institutes of Health.
It is a terrific resource.
