The full response to this question would be quite lengthy and I would strongly recommend enrolling in a CAPC PCLC program or attending the Annual Seminars sponsored by CAPC to gain a full picture of how administration can be "convinced" to enhance support for your program. Just a small pearl to start would be to find out from the current administration and leadership what their concerns, strategic plan and system goals, sources of stress within the system, etc. and try to match what palliative care could offer to address these needs.
