Assuming the facilities that you want to contract with are hospitals, the attraction would be the fact that the palliative care consulting service would contribute to cost savings and increasing through put in the acute care setting. If you are seeing patients in the hospital your negotiations in the contract could include a percentage of your salary and benefit costs. I do not have a specific figure to offer.
