| Skype in palliative settings (by Lustbader on 07/28/2010)
Love this idea. We've been trying to get a laptop with Skype in our Palliative Care Unit for a year now. We believe it would improve communication with loved ones living far away. The webcam really shouldn't make us nervous since cameras are everywhere already. Our ICUs have hidden cameras in the ceiling to monitor handwashing by staff. We're always on camera and should behave accordingly.
