need input from colleagues.
Our large teaching hospital is re-examining the way consults fro Palliative Care are initiated. One of the proposals involve allowing nurses to call for a consult, then after chart/caser review the Palliative Care consultant is to call attending to ask if a consult is needed. Seems circuitous. Looking for others' experiences
