Post Info pamphlets for low/no cost

Does anyone know of organizations that will provide information on death and dying, palliative care topics, etc, at low or no cost? We are a brand new program with few resources, but would love to be able to provide information for families.
EXTRA CREDIT for respondents who know of resources in different languages (Spanish, Chinese, etc.).

This is very good question since providing information to patients and families is a key aspect of a palliative care program. Here are resources for you to consider. The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (www.hpna.org) offers patient teaching sheets on a variety of topics, including some in Spanish. The National Institute for Nursing Research has published a very good description of palliative care-request copies at www.ninr.nih.gov. Another resource is from the National Institute on Aging called Helping with Comfort and Care, available at www.nia.nih.gov.
Also check Caring Connections (www.nhpco.org).
For oncology information, see the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org). Low cost materials include "Hard Choices," also available in Spanish, with price reduction for multiple copies. Hope this is helpful!
