At this time we have a full time RN that manages 101 patients and 3 staff that assist on occasion (as an addnl. duty as assigned), and a volunteer 4 hours per week. We have hired a chaplain but she hasn't started yet. We are based in an outpatient setting, but visit patients hospitalized in our system almost daily. Our program consists of mainly support and case management. We are discussing possibly expanding but feel like we have saturated our current resources. Any information you could give me regarding staffing/case loads would be appreciated. Thank you.
