I don't specifically know of any statements re: authorized agent. It seems that a critical element would be to have the teaching materials and policies and procedures reflect who can serve as an authorized agent. You then could have your documentation reflect that the education occurred with the authorized agent. YOu may also be able to get some resources from the infusion company or pharmacy that you work with. Sharol Herr, RN, MSEd, CHPN; Nurse Clinician/Education Coordinator; Mt. This original question was posted over 3 years ago. Looking for same thing 3 years later. Does anyone have education packet for AACA in acute care?
