I am a certified massage therapist on contract with two hospitals in my area. In one, I am available throughout the hospital for referral by nurses; in the other I work in the surgery center providing pre-op and post-op massage. Both programs, which are funded, I believe, from foundation grants, work extremely well for all concerned. I am looking now for additional contract work in my area. If anyone is familiar with such programs in the San Francisco Bay area, I would love to know about them.
