I am shocked that BMT physicians would not be entirely on board! But at any rate, you seem to be doing the right thing.
I too am in the midst of starting a program, and fortunately I had a lot of support. But in general, for statistics, I found CAPC and NHPCO to be the best resources for broad, informational studies that clearly show the need for palliative care.
Additionally, if you look in the CAPC palliative care screening tools, those undergoing BMT are clearly some of the patients recommended for consults, so use that evidence to your advantage.
