Post Designing a Physician Run Palliative Group

Does anyone know of successful models for physician run palliative care groups providing consultation and management services in acute care and outpatient settings for a mostly urban (some rural) community of ~300K. Looking to speak with group leaders. Thank you. - reed (7755448393)

There may be a few, but we have limited info on free standing groups.Most palliative care practices are affiliated with a larger entity and either get medical director stipends or some support. The Capital Hospice (Wash DC and surronding area) has a fairly large palliative care practice that serves several hospitals. They may have some info that they can share with you. www.capitalhospice.org.
