Post Building New Palliative Care Program

I am an NP with an oncology background. I am currently working for a hospice company who is very interested in building an outpatient palliative care program, seeing patients in their homes. I have only worked in the field of hospice for four months and would appreciate any and all information regarding expanding the NP role in the planning/implementation process of building an outpatient based palliative care program.

There are incredible resources for developing an outpatient PC program in the tools section of the CAPC website. It gives lots of key questions to ask and steps to take to start a program. I'm sure if you check it out you will have some clarity about what will need to go into the process of starting an outpatient PC program.
