Post TJC CERT FOR HOSPITAL PALL CARE

We received the email from CAPC e-Alert regarding TJCs approval of a hospital palliative care certificate program with expected launch date of 9/1/11. We are looking for verification from TJC to give to our administrators to no avail; we have looked on TJC website extensively and have not been able to find absolutely anything referring to their approval of this program. We may have overlooked it, and if so, can someone point us to anything released from TJC regarding their approval of cert program. We can only find reference to this on the CAPC site and our administration wants verification from other sources as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to inform you that we are expecting The Joint Commission to release news and details of the palliative care certification sometime this week.
