Post Build new Palliative Home Care!!

Hello friends & colleagues,

I would like to ask you if you can help in establishing palliative home care in kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Recently, I come back from Australia to work in Saudi Arabia. I got master of advanced practice in palliative care.

The hospital that I am in is the most known one in the kingdom. I found a position in home health care department. This department has 10 nurses whom everyday visit patients in their homes. They are divided into wound care nurses, diabetic nurses etc....

I am the first Saudi national who got this master degree in palliative care from all over the country and therefore they asked me to start palliative care in the community. I am the only specialist and I have another nurse who is working alongside with me. We have 25 patients.


Could any one help me in establishing everything. I am working alone.

I tried to find some other programs similar to my situation but I never found.


P.S Home Health Care has several teams ( Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Physio Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Social Worker, General Practitioner)

Hello--I would suggest you look into resources from the International Association of Hospice and Palliative Care; they have many excellent resources for program development throughout the world.
