I am a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, in a hospital which has had an excellent Palliative Care physician who is leaving, plans are for the program to now be NP led. I would like to talk with other NP's from programs that are led by Nurse Practitioners or nurses.

Our in patient consultation palliative care program, established 5 years ago has been NP led. I have a collaborating physician, but I see all the patients. I would be happy to speak with you about our program.

I am currently coordinating the palliative care program within my organization as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Our program has always operated as a nurse driven program and has not had a collaborating physician. Feel free to email me if you have any questions regarding our nurse run program.
