I initiated a PC in-patient program through our Hospitalists program. I am the NP clinical coordinator of the program and do the majority of consults. There is a MD colleague that also works with the service. I would be glad to discuss with you further if you have some specific questions as to how we function. Feel free to email me.

Hi Debbie,

I am the medical director of the hospitalist program at L&M hospital in New London, CT. We have been asked to be involved with a PC program. How do you bill for the consults considering that most of the patients will likely already be on the Hospitalist service??
